GAP Program

Saturday, May 16, 2026 - Sunday, May 17, 2026

In today’s world, young people are often faced with difficult decisions about their future—whether to continue their education, enter the workforce, or develop new skills. This ‘gap’ between childhood and adulthood can be a challenging time. We are blessed to support Pinehaven Christian Ranch in St. Ignatius, Montana, and its appropriately titled GAP program. This 8-week Explorer experience is designed for young adults (high school graduates through their mid-20s) who want to explore career options, gain hands-on skills, and deepen their Christian faith. What the GAP Program offers: • Skill-building opportunities, with minimal or no cost • Room & board with mentorship in practical life skills • Growth in faith through Bible studies and chapel gatherings This program runs three times a year—in spring, summer, and fall—and is an excellent fit for those not attending college, or college students looking for a meaningful ‘in-between-semesters’ experience. Upon completing the GAP Explorer program, participants can choose to continue their journey through Pinehaven’s Apprentice program to further hone their skills and gain on-the-job training through employer partnerships. Members of our church have seen firsthand the lasting impact of Pinehaven, with a couple of our youth completing the GAP Explorer program, and one of whom is now in the Apprentice program. We are excited to invite you to learn more about this life-changing opportunity. The Director of the GAP Program (Aaron Hymer), along with the Director of Pinehaven Christian Ranch (John Robine), will be visiting Lake Ridge the weekend of May 16-17, 2026, at the following times: Saturday, May 16th: 10:00am, 2:00pm, 4:00pm, 6:00pm Sunday, May 17th: 8:30am & 10:30am Services, 2:00pm We invite you to attend and bring anyone who might benefit from this program. If you know young adults or high schoolers contemplating their future, the GAP program could offer valuable direction.
